DIY ring with setting with rivoli and modeling wire
Metal settings for Swarovski Rivolis can be made into many different pieces of jewelry. Here we have used the settings in combination with "Craft Wire" to create delicate rings. Take advantage of the Rivolis' wide range of colors to create rings to match any outfit.
Put a small amount of rhinestone glue into the setting. Insert the Swarovski Rivoli into the setting.
Allow the glued frame to dry for at least 24 - 48 hours. Rhinestone adhesive is very thin and is therefore easy to dispense and apply, but it takes a long time to dry completely. The more rhinestone glue you put into the setting, the longer the drying process will take. Depending on the amount and room temperature, it can take up to four days until the glue is completely dry!
Cut off one turn of the wire from the Craft Wire. This corresponds to about 30 cm.
Choose your desired ring size. Use a ring stick to wrap the ring. The ring stick offers you the possibility to determine the desired ring diameter. Place the wire in the middle around the ring stick and wrap the wire once completely around the stick.
Now attach the socket by pulling one wire end through each eyelet.
On each side, bend the wire.
Start wrapping the wire around the ring rail on one side first.
Wrap the wire around the ring rail several times.
Cut off the excess wire with the side cutter.
Repeat the last two steps on the other side of the ring. Use the flat nose pliers to push the wire into the center of the eyelet.
According to the same scheme can be made color variations, suitable for any occasion.
