Create lantern with modeling wire and polaris beads
ON THIS WINDLIGHT blooms a whole meadow of flowers. For this idea, use a plain transparent glass with a diameter of about 5 - 6 cm. The lanterns look especially beautiful when you decorate them in a group of three to four glasses.
For the flower meadow, cut two pieces of wire about 1 m long from the wire roll.
Place the two wires parallel to each other and twist the two ends together on one side.
Cut a package of light green leatherette ribbon into pieces about 6 - 8 cm long. The pieces do not have to be exactly the same length! Take one piece of ribbon and place it around the top of the two wires.
Wrap the lower of the two wires once around the tape.
Place the next piece of tape on the top wire
wrap the bottom wire around the tape again.
Continue working in this pattern until you have made a border about 20 cm long.
Put the border around the glass
The braid overlaps a little on both sides. Twist the wires on both sides to secure the braid. Cut off the excess wire.
Place a piece of wire around the center of the grass strip. Twist it again on the back of the glass and cut off the excess wire.
Place a piece of pink ribbon around the wire and tie it into a bow. The wise is now ready.
For the flowers you need colorful modeling wire and six polaris beads each with a diameter of 6 mm.
Cut a piece of wire about 60 cm long and thread six polaris beads.
Slice the beads about 10 cm onto the wire. Now pass the longer end of the wire through the six polaris beads.
Tighten the wire. This creates a circle.
Thread the long end of the wire through the first polar bead until a loop about 2 cm long is left.
Continue working in this pattern until the first five petals are formed.
Twist the loop two to three times.
Finally, thread the wire through the sixth polaris bead as well, again leaving one petal.
At the starting point of the flower are now left two pieces of wire about the same length.
Twist both pieces of wire to form a flower stem.
Put the flower in the meadow behind the fixing wire.
Twist both pieces of wire to form a flower stem.
