For a simple bracelet with a sliding clasp you need jewelry ribbon with a diameter of about 1 mm made of nylon or cotton ribbon. In addition, a sliding clasp and a bracelet connector. A beading needle makes it easier to thread the ribbon through the clasp.
Depending on the desired length of the bracelet, you will need a 25-30 cm long band. Pull the bracelet connector onto the band and pull it to the middle of the band.
Next, thread the first end of the ribbon through the sliding closure. To do this, pull the tape through two adjacent openings of the closure.
Pull the other end of the tape from the opposite side through the top two openings of the closure.
Now the bracelet can be adjusted in size with the sliding clasp. Test how wide the bracelet needs to be so that you can comfortably slip it over your wrist. Then knot the ends of the band at least twice so that the band cannot slip through the openings of the clasp later. If you used a nylon strap, you can also fuse the knots with a lighter.
