Make your own sailor dew bracelet with hook clasp and intermediate piece

For all dapper sailors, these bracelets are a must!

All you need is sail rope, a hook clasp, and a custom spacer to make this sail rope bracelet yourself.

Step 1
This chic sailor bracelet with hook closure is very easy to make yourself. With a slider with beautiful engraving you can make your bracelet even more unique. In this step by step tutorial we will show you how to make the bracelet yourself.

The material
You need sail rope with 5 mm diameter, a hook clasp and an engraved intermediate piece. For better cutting you need some adhesive film and for gluing Sekudnekleber.

The tools
For cutting you can use either scissors or a ceramic knife. If you use a knife, we recommend you to use a base.

Step 2
Measure out how long you want your bracelet to be and mark the cut with tape. Cut the tape in the middle of the tape with a knife. The tape protects the band from fraying and makes it easier to work with later.
If you cut the tape with a knife, we recommend you to use a base.

Step 3
Now you can pull the intermediate piece onto the tape. The upper half of the ribbon should form a loop. The two lower ends should be the same length! The intermediate piece is not yet fixed with glue.

Step 4
Now glue the clasp to the ribbon. To do this, drop some glue into the hook closure and then put both ribbons into the closure.

Step 5
Here you can see the bracelet completely glued together. Make sure that the motif of the intermediate piece and the front of the hook closure are on the same side of the bracelet.
You can also fix the intermediate piece in its position with some glue.

Step 6
The bracelet is now ready and can be closed and opened through the loop in the sail rope.

Step 7
The bracelet also looks good with other hook closures and spacers. You have the choice between many different models in our store!
