Charm bracelet with katsuki beads

Charm bracelet with katsuki beads
A charm bracelet is a bracelet with many small charms. The bracelet itself consists of a link chain. The pendants can be attached to the individual links of the chain.
In this tutorial, we first make the basic bracelet from a link chain itself. Then this bracelet is provided with many small pendants. Also this pendant we make ourselves.
Make basic bracelet
For this we need a link chain. Link chains are available in our store in different colors and sizes. It is important to choose a chain with links that are not too small. The smaller the chain links are, the more difficult it is to attach the pendants. For this tutorial, we chose a gold-colored chain with chain links about 3 x 3.5 mm in size. The bracelet has a total length with clasp of 19 cm.

For this purpose, we cut off a piece of the link chain with a side cutter that is about 17 cm long. You can of course adjust the length of the bracelet individually. A split ring is attached to both sides of the link chain. A binding ring is also attached to one split ring. Here is a link to a basic instruction:

Make pendants
For the pendants you need chain pins. We used the chain pins in a length of 45 mm. The longer the chain pin, the easier it is to bend an eyelet. Here is a link to our basic instructions:
Processing a chain pin

The bead pin has a plate that is often smaller than the bead threading hole. This is also true for the Katsuki beads. You then need a small stopper bead to prevent the beads from slipping off the pendant.

Miyuki beads or small metal spacers are well suited.
For this bracelet we alternated pendants with Kastuki and facet beads and hung them in the glider chain. We always left a chain link space between the pendants.
Using the same principle, you can decorate a charm bracelet with other pendants.
