Preciosa stones can be glued into settings with adhesive.

Pour some jewelry glue into the cauldron. Dose the glue sparingly so that it does not ooze out of the cauldron after gluing.

Size of the gemstone
The choice of the right glue depends on the size of the Swarovski stone.

For Swarovski Rivoli and Chatons up to SS39 (8 mm)
Rhinestone glue is best suited, because it can be easily dosed and you get good gluing results.

Rhinestone glue dries very slowly
and is dried out after 48 h at the earliest.

For Swarovski Rivoli and Chatons from SS47 (10 mm)
is suitable for both jewelry glue and dispersion glue.

Superglue
is not suitable for gluing Swarovski stones. When drying, a veil may appear on the Swarovski stones, which cannot be wiped off again!

Different cut
Swarovski Rivoli and Chatons differ in their cut and the shape of the bottom side. Chatons are much more pointed on the back of the stone than Rivoli. Therefore, there are different settings for Rivoli and Chatons. Use only the appropriate settings for the Swarovski stones to get beautiful results!

Spread the glue evenly
In order for the stone to hold well in the setting, it is important to distribute the glue evenly in the setting for larger stones (from 10 mm diameter). Put some glue in the middle of the setting. Then spread a thin layer of glue in the setting with the help of a cotton swab.
