DIY soccer ornaments with glass balls
Under the glass dome. Exciting soccer scenes take place here, captured under a glass dome. We got ourselves small model railroad figures in the specialty store and made you original pendants. Now the soccer players are storming and dribbling under glass and the referee has everything in view.
The material & tools for this pendant: scissors, tweezers, super glue, glass dome, lid, suspension, motif sheet and model train figure from the toy store.
Cut out motif. Cut out a 20 mm diameter soccer from the motif sheet. Leave a small white margin.
Glue in motif. Glue the soccer into the lid of the glass dome. Press it firmly in the process so that the motif does not curl.
Glue the soccer figure in place. Pick up the soccer figure with the tweezers. Turn the figure upside down and coat the feet with glue.
Allow to dry. Carefully place the figure on the prepared lid with tweezers. Secure the figure with the tweezers for a few moments to allow the glue to dry. Let the figure dry completely for about 30 minutes.
Glue on the dome. Thinly coat the bottom edge of the glass dome with glue. Then invert the lid over the figure. Press the dome firmly onto the lid.
Glue on the suspension. Drop some glue on the bottom of the suspension and carefully place it on the highest part of the glass dome. Fix the suspension briefly with the tweezers.
Soccer pendant. Now you can hang the finished soccer pendant on a chain.
