The metal clasp anchor
With the metal clasp anchor you can also make a beautiful maritime bracelet with an anchor. This so-called wrap-around anchor bracelet is a real eye-catcher and can be made in no time at all. In our DIY instructions sail rope wrap bracelet with anchor clasp we explain step by step how you can make the bracelet from rope yourself.

The instructions for the anchor bracelet step by step:

Step 1: To make your sail rope bracelet you need a 2mm sail rope, scissors, an anchor clasp and a lighter.

Step2: Cut an approx. 80 - 90 cm long piece of sail rope and fasten the clasp in the middle of the band with a simple knot.

Step3: Now you can knot a loop at the other end of the cord.

Step4: Cut off the excess cord with scissors and seal the ends of the cord with a lighter.

Step 5: The sail rope bracelet can be wrapped twice around the wrist at this length. To close it you can hang the loop in the anchor clasp.

The Click Closure

You wonder what you can make out of a click clasp, a leather strap and the sail rope with a diameter of 2mm? We will tell you. With these three components you can make a beautiful sail rope bracelet. You won't use an anchor, but you will still get a wonderful nautical bracelet. To make this bracelet you use the same technique as for a macramé bracelet. The 2mm sail rope is knotted together over the leather strap. You can find the exact basic technique for these macramé bracelets here.

We wish you lots of fun while browsing and making your own bracelets. There really is nothing better than making your own nautical bracelets.
