Application:
The bonding surfaces must be clean and free of dust, grease, oil or release agents
. Apply HASULITH® Dispersion Adhesive P thinly on one side and
immediately press the partsto be bonded
together.
When applying the adhesive with a brush, HASULITH® Dispersion Adhesive
Pcan be
diluted with approx. 10% water.
In the case of large-surface bonding, one side should be made of an absorbent material
(e.g. cardboard, wood, etc.), otherwise very long drying times must be
expected.
In the case of very absorbent material, the adhesive should be
appliedsomewhat thicker or
on both sides.
Curing:
Depending on the material, good initial strength is achieved after only a few minutes, so
that work can be continued quickly.
The drying speed
depends very much on the size of the bonding area and the
materials used.
When bonding absorbent materials,
curing is faster than when bonding impermeable
materials (such as glass, metal, plastic, etc
.
).
Bonds should be allowed to cure overnight before
being subjected to mechanical stress.
Bonds that are stressed too early will
not achieve optimum strength.
Separation of bonding/cleaning:
Bonding with dispersion adhesives canusually
be
separatedwith warm water
after a longer exposure time.
Since the adhesive is difficult to remove after drying,
adhesive residues - especially on clothing - must be removed immediately
(warm water or soapy water).
Dispersion Adhesive P

adhesives are
notwash-resistant
