DESCRIPTION
HASUFIX® is a medium-viscosity, colorless, cold-curing, one-component,
cyanoacrylate-based
adhesive
for the most demanding applications. It is

plastics - also nylon 6.6 (but not for PE and PP)
- natural and synthetic rubber, rubber, sponge rubber

itself especially for the bonding of
costume jewelry ribbons, hoops and cords made of rubber
or soft PVC in metal clasps

HASUFIX® cannot be used if the bonding area
is
constantly
exposed to
water
(e.g. in aquariums)
.
HASUFIX®
is only conditionally suitable
for absorbent or porous
materials as well as for glass bonding


































. Permanent temperature resistance up to +70°C, short-term temperature resistance up to +100°C.

The
surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil or
release agents

.

HASUFIX® is
applied
thinly on one side (usually
one drop
is sufficient
)
.
The
parts
to be bonded are then
immediately joined and briefly fixed
.
The adhesive
must not be applied too thickly, otherwise curing
will

be delayed
too
much

.

When gluing cords in metal clasps,
it has proven useful
to

apply
a drop of HASUFIX® to the end of the cord
and, after assembly, to turn the metal clasp slightly
so that the adhesive is distributed all around


.




Dosage: use very sparingly. If too much adhesive is used, the bond will not be stable because the adhesive cannot dry quickly enough. As a result, glued parts break apart again.


Since

polymerization (curing)
starts
immediately after application of the adhesive
, the parts must be joined together immediately

.


Correction is only possible within a few seconds, but should be
avoided
.
Due to the rapid curing, the adhesive is
not suitable for large-area bonding
.

Curing time:
Rubber/rubber 10-30 sec
.

Metal/rubber 20-40 sec.
Metal/metal 1-2 min.
Plastic/plastic 1-3 min.

STORAGEHASUFIX®
must be stored in a cool, dry and tightly closed place



.




If not used for a longer period of time, it should be stored in a refrigerator or
freezer (not together with food !)
.

Clean the adhesive tip after each use.

How long can the adhesive be used?

Hasufix has an unopened shelf life of approx. 9 months.
Hasufix is a cyanoacrylate adhesive. This type of adhesive hardens due to humidity in the air. Unfortunately, it cannot be completely avoided that
moisture diffuses through the plastic of the bottle over a longer period of time
.
Even traces of
moisture
are sufficient to initiate
polymerization
.
As a result, the adhesive becomes thicker and thicker until it finally pulls threads and
finally solidifies completely
.
Since this solidification is the result of a chemical reaction (polymerization) and not of physical
evaporation of a solvent, the process is not reversible (i.e. the adhesive can no longer be thinned)
.

With Hasufix it is therefore advisable to buy only the need of a few months because it has - unlike our other adhesives - only aRecht
limited shelf life
.
